Swim Lessons

Learn to Swim with Confidence

Wheat Ridge Aquatics is proud to offer the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program.  We offer group, private and adapted swim lessons for infants, children, teens and adults.  With classes for those age six months and older, you and your entire family can learn to master the skills needed to help you swim safely. Lessons take place year-round at the Recreation Center and at Anderson Pool during the summer.

Level Placement

To help you determine the appropriate level to register for, please read the descriptions below. Please note: It is common for a child to repeat a level, therefore, we recommend you register for the same level for two consecutive sessions.
Parent/Tot Lessons Ages 6 - 35 months
A parent or trusted adult, along with the instructor help your child get ready to swim by first learning water adjustment and safety through fun games and songs. This class is not meant to teach your child how to swim or survive in the water independently.  Children must wear a swim diaper and bathing suit.
