Parks & Trails

Wheat Ridge's greatest attractions include City parks, the Greenbelt and Clear Creek Trail.

Parks are essential to the physical, social, environmental, and economic health of our community. The goal of Wheat Ridge Parks & Recreation is to ensure that the City's parks and trails remain attractive, inviting and safe. The department maintains 21 city parks occupying more than 170 acres, seven miles of trails, and 300 acres of open space land.
