The Large Item Pick Up Program for Spring 2016 is completed.
2017 Program dates to be determined (TBD)
The 2017 program registration and pick up dates have not been determined. This will happen in late Winter/early Spring. Once the dates are determined, the information will be posted in the Spring edition of the City's quarterly newsletter TheWheat Ridge Connection, and on the City Website.
How the program works:
Verification of Wheat Ridge residency and pre-approval of type of item to be picked up are required at the time of registration. (TBD)
The first 275 City of Wheat Ridge residences to register will be eligible to have one large bulky household item picked up. This is an item your residential trash service will NOT pick up without an additional fee. (NOTE: The number of residences could change for the 2017 program depending on budget and contractor bid prices.)
Program is not for businesses or apartment complexes
The City will begin accepting registration calls in the early Spring of 2017 - date (TBD).
Registration hours are Monday thru Friday between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Registration will NOT be accepted prior to the determined date (TBD).
Registrations are not accepted after maximum registration number is met or after 3:00 p.m. of the final date of registration (TBD), whichever comes first.
