Overnight paving operations expected to affect homes between 25th Ave. and 52nd Ave on Sheridan Blvd
Starting September 20, 2017 Expected to finish winter 2017 Where will access be limited and what is happening?

Paving operations beginning Sept. 20 are expected to affect properties along North Sheridan Boulevard between 25th and 52nd Avenues. Overnight work is expected to last until early October. Homes and businesses may have limited access to driveways between the overnight hours of 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. when paving operations occur on their block. Paving and milling will be performed in one direction at a time beginning northbound from 25th to 52nd Ave. before heading southbound from 52nd to 25th Ave., impacting six blocks at a time. Side streets will be closed to traffic along the blocks where milling and paving happen overnight. Single lane closures will occur, but one lane northbound and southbound will always be open on North Sheridan Boulevard for motorists during overnight work.

 When are crews working?

Work will take place overnight for paving and milling on Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.

When should homeowners and businesses be able to access their driveways?

Work is expected to be complete on each block at 8 a.m. the morning after work begins. Homeowners are encouraged to park elsewhere if they will need access to their vehicles at all during this overnight closure.
