NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that within the City of Wheat Ridge, there currently exist fewer than the maximum number of 16 Billboard Signs. The City has determined that a vacancy exists for one additional Billboard. Pursuant to Ordinance No. 1610, a billboard vacancy is hereby declared.

 

As of the date of this notice, April 24, 2017, the City is opening a 30-day period for Billboard preliminary applications to be submitted to the Community Development Department, in the manner prescribed in Ordinance No. 1610. Billboard preliminary applications shall be submitted, in person, no later than 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2017 to the attention of Kenneth Johnstone, Community Development Director at municipal offices located at 7500 W. 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO.

RECENT ORDINANCES ADOPTED BY COUNCIL

Ordinance 1614 -

An Ordinance amending 22-56 and 22-66 of the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws to codify an increase in the City’s Sales and Use Tax Rate pursuant to voter approval granted on November 8, 2016.

Ordinance 1615 - An Ordinance authorizing the issuance by the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado of its Sales and Use Tax Revenue Bonds, Series 2017A, and providing other details in connection therewith.

Ordinance 1616 - An Ordinance extending the Temporary Moratorium on the submission, acceptance, processing, and approval of applications and requests for a permit, license land use approval or other approval for a Freestanding Emergency Room Facility.

Ordinance 1617 -  An Ordinance amending Chapter 26 of the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws concerning the Regulation of Small-Scale Alcohol Production Facilities.

Ordinance 1618 -  An Ordinance amending Chapter 26 of the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws concerning the Regulation of Site Design Standards for Site Grading, Retaining Walls and Storm water Facilities.

Ordinance 1619 - An Ordinance rezoning property located at 4255 Yarrow Street from Residential-Two (R-2) to Mixed Use-Neighborhood 

Ordinance 1620 - An Ordinance amending various provisions of Article 1 of Chapter 22 of the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws concerning City Sales and Use Tax, and Section 11-68 of the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws, concerning proration of the Annual Liquor License Occupation Tax

Notice is hereby given that Ordinances 1598 through  1613 were codified into Supplement 58 for insertion into the Code of Laws of the City of Wheat Ridge
