Four Seasons Farmers and Artisans Market presents the Colorado Honey Festival!
The event features presentations by Ron Fessenden, MD, MPH on the the health benefits of honey as well as a beekeeping 101 class and a presentation by Sustainable Eiber on their work with Bee Safe Neighborhoods. Local vendors will offer a variety of honey-based products for sale, including, of course, honey from local hives, as well as honeycomb, baked goods sweetened with honey, and honey-based bath and body products.

Join the Active Transportation Advisory Team and other community leaders for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the recently completed Kipling Street Multi-Use Trail! Bicycle riders of all ages and abilities are invited to join the ATATs and community leaders for a ride to the event at 9 am. Meet in the Wheat Ridge High School parking lot and police officers will lead bicyclists to the event. Don’t forget to wear a helmet! Refreshments will be served.

The City of Wheat Ridge, in partnership with Local Works, invites residents and property owners to get involved in the beautification and continued maintenance of their properties and neighborhoods. We expect dumpsters to fill up quickly after they are dropped off! Items allowed in dumpsters: yard debris, furniture, general trash. This is a fun, Trick or Treat experience for kids and their families with participation from firefighters, police officers, and community members. Participants decorate their cars and trucks with creative disguises to delight kids and distribute candy to celebrate Halloween. This event features a haunted house, carnival games, a “Trunk Decorating Contest”, and “Thriller” zombie dancers to kick off the costume parade.
