Saturday, April 28, 2018

The Wheat Ridge Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Pills and patches can be dropped off for disposal at Lutheran Medical Center’s main entrance at 8300 W. 38th Ave. in Wheat Ridge, on April 28, 2018 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (The DEA cannot accept liquids, needles or sharps.) The service is free and anonymous. No questions will be asked.
