RTD Will Replace Track Crossing Panel Across Miller Street Starting March 22, 2017


RTD is planning on removing and replacing the track crossing panel across the entire width of Miller Street. During construction, Miller Street will be closed south of the intersection beginning Wed., March 22 at 6:00 am until at least Mon., March 27.

Public Meeting: Recommended Preferred Alternative Identified for the I-70/Kipling Interchange

Highway Closures and Detours Planned in Late February through June 2017

CDOT will be replacing five overhead sign bridges and cantilever sign structures along I-25, I-70 and I-76 between February and June 2017.

2E Sales and Use Tax Rate Increase Ordinance

In 2016, Wheat Ridge voters approved a half-percent sales and use tax rate increase to 3.5% for 12 years beginning January 1, 2017 for infrastructure improvements. The City Council adopted Ordinance 1614 formalizing the rate at 3.5% on February 27, 2017.
