NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, there currently exists fewer than the maximum number of 16 Billboard Signs. The City has determined that a vacancy exists for one additional Billboard. Pursuant to ordinance No. 1610, a billboard vacancy is hereby declared.

 NOTICE OF BILLBOARD SIGN VACANCY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that within the City of Wheat Ridge, there currently exist fewer than the maximum number of 16 Billboard Signs. The City has determined that a vacancy exists for one additional Billboard. Pursuant to Ordinance No. 1610, a billboard vacancy is hereby declared.


As of the date of this notice, the City is opening a 30-day period for Billboard preliminary applications to be submitted to the Community Development Department, in the manner prescribed in Ordinance No. 1610. Billboard preliminary applications shall be submitted, in person, no later than 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2018 to the attention of Kenneth Johnstone, Community Development Director at municipal offices located at 7500 W. 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO.


Preliminary applications shall include, at a minimum, the following:


  •   Letter of intent from applicant, either property owner or billboard company
  •   Description of proposed location, including either property address or Jefferson County Assessor Parcel ID
  •   Written permission to make said application from the property owner if they are not the applicant


If more than one complete and eligible application is received a random drawing will be conducted and separate notice of the date and time of said drawing will be provided to all eligible applicants.
