TLC Clean Up Days

Full Clean Up Days Flyer 2019

Wheat Ridge TLC Neighborhoods Clean Up Days program that offers roll-off dumpsters to help residents clean up the community.

Trash dumpsters are provided free of charge within selected neighborhoods to assist and encourage residents to properly dispose of items that are difficult and sometimes expensive to remove

For 2019 those events are planned for the following dates:
June 1, District IV
Clear Creek Church, 10555 W. 44th Ave.
8 a.m. - noon

July 6, District III
Applewood Baptist Church, 11200 W. 32nd Ave.
8 a.m. - noon

August 17, District II
St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 3900 Pierce St.
8 a.m. - noon

September 21, District I
WR United Congregational Church, 6310 W. 29th Ave
8 a.m. - noon

Specifics on what can and cannot be disposed of in the dumpsters:

APPROVED
solid, non-hazardous waste, yard debris, furniture, general trash, junk you cannot recycle
aluminum and tin cans, solid Styrofoam, newspaper, mixed paper, magazines, milk cartons, rigid plastics, plastic bottles, plastic tubs, flattened cardboard, brown paper bags, paperboard, junk mail, empty aerosol cans
ONLY branches under 4" diameter,  ONLY leaves
NOT APPROVED
electronics, paint, appliances, refrigerators, batteries, hazardous liquids, motor oil, oil filters, tires, large construction debris, concrete, rocks, fertilizers, bug killers, aerosols, cleaners, adhesives, propane tanks, ammunition, computers, mobile phones, medical waste
hazardous materials, batteries, steel items, any metal other than aluminum and tin cans, packing peanuts, plastic bags, clamshells plastic containers, plastic six pack holders, shredded paper, used paper towels, ceramics, window or windshield glass, needles

large branches, dirt, stumps, rocks, fertilizers
