Wheat Ridge Little Learners Program
Our Little Learners Preschool Program enrolls children from three to five years old.
Meeting either two or three times a week, your child will learn about shapes, colors and numbers through interesting weekly themes and through a variety of fun activities such as crafts, games, wellness, and fitness activities. Your child will also be introduced to structured classroom situations and unstructured playtime.

Instructors: Licensed Preschool Staff
Location: Wheat Ridge Recreation Center, Children's Pavilion
Overview: Currently, Little Learners is comprised of an educational session during the school year and a more recreational session in the summer. The maximum number of children that can enroll in each session is 15. Nine children must enroll for the program to operate.

Summer: June-August
Curriculum
Our curriculum has been carefully crafted by professionals to help ensure that your child will receive a rich, rewarding, and fun preschool experience. Your child will be enthused by the weekly themes that will be used to teach him or her gross and fine motor skills, problem and critical thinking skills, and how to interact with others while having fun. Your child will be taught by instructors who enjoy children and are knowledgeable about child development.

Registration
You must register in person at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center located at 4005 Kipling St. Registration will consist of:
All paperwork must be completed in full and turned in to Rachel Wysuph at the Recreation Center front desk three business days before your child's first day of preschool. Please be aware, our state licensed paperwork includes a doctor's signature (form is included in Parent Packet) and current State-approved immunization records. If your child will need medication while at preschool, please contact Rachel Wysuph for the required forms.

Additional Information

- If you have a punch card, annual pass, or just want to pay the daily drop-in fee, you can workout at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center while your child attends pre-school.
- If your child is not potty trained, you must remain in the buildling as staff does not provide personal care.
