Field Rentals
Wheat Ridge Field Rentals
Most athletic fields located in City of Wheat Ridge parks are available to rent. Rental times are limited to times available and contingent upon current field conditions. Field use is intended as a space only rental and all amenities may not be available as part of your field rental. Sports equipment, such as portable soccer goals, is typically locked up and is not available as part of field rentals.
Softball and Baseball
Softball and youth baseball fields have the most availability for rentals. The City manages one adult baseball field at Anderson Park. This field is currently under contract with the Men's Senior Baseball League. Availability is very limited with an occasional open date for make-up games.
Soccer and Alternative Sports
Some soccer fields are available for rental. However, due to safety issues, portable goals are not available for use by the general public. Field space for alternative sports such as Ultimate Frisbee or other activities is also available.
Field Rules and Requirements
Drop-in use is generally allowed on most fields unless the field is prepared and scheduled for an official game. Age restrictions are posted on the backstop signage. Organized teams are required to have an Athletic Facility Permit before using fields. Rental fees may apply. The City of Wheat Ridge reserves the right to limit field and gym use to only those sports deemed suitable for the facility in question. Special field markings are not allowed and groups are expected to use fields as is. All
Park Rules and Regulations apply.
Rental Rates
Field rental rates are $30 per hour. Lighted fields are available for $40 per hour. Renters are not charged for rental time not used due to field closures or inclement weather. Renters are issued an Athletics Facility Permit upon payment and should bring permits to the field as verification of rental time.
