NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wheat Ridge City Council will conduct a public hearing on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 7500 W. 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado to consider Council Bill No. 08-2013 – An Ordinance amending the penalties for violating Sections 1203 and 1208 of the Model Traffic Code for Colorado, as adopted by the City, concerning the parking of major vehicles and parking privileges for persons with disabilities, respectively, and making conforming amendments to Section 13-2 of the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws.

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a Special Meeting of the Wheat Ridge City Council at the following date, time, and place:

MONDAY, MAY 6, 2013
Commencing immediately following the conclusion of the Study Session Meeting

The meeting has been request by Mayor DiTullio for the purpose of holding an Executive Session for a conference with the City Attorney, City Manager and appropriate staff, under Charter Section 5.7(b)(1) and Section 24-6-402(4)(b) and (e) , C.R.S., to receive legal advice on specific legal questions concerning redevelopment of property located at the southwest corner of 38th and Wadsworth Boulevard.

Ordinance 1530, An Ordinance approving the rezoning of property located at 3775 Benton St. from Planned Residential Development (PRD) to the Mixed Use-Neighborhood (MU-N) Zone District (Case No. WZ-12-09) (effective February 1, 2013)

Ordinance 1531, An Ordinance amending Section 16-131 and Section 16-133 of the Code of Laws concerning possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia (effective January 28, 2013 - upon adoption)

Ordinance 1532 An Ordinance approving the rezoning of property located at 4335 Harlan Street from restricted Commercial (RC) to mixed Use-Neighborhood (MU-N) (Case No. WZ 12-10/Fernandez) (effective March 1, 2013)

Ordinance 1533 – An Ordinance imposing a temporary moratorium on the submission, acceptance, processing, and approval of applications for a permit or license for any marijuana establishment or marijuana club and declaring an emergency (effective March 11, 2013 - upon adoption)

Ordinance 1534 - An Ordinance amending the Cable Television Franchise Agreement between the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado and Comcast of Colorado IV, LLC, to extend the term of the Franchise (effective April 12, 2013 - 15 days after publication)

CODIFICATION:

Notice is hereby given that Ordinances 1516 through 1529 were codified into Supplement 50 for insertion into the Code of Laws of the City of Wheat Ridge. Supplement 50 will be effective March 14, 2013.
