Wheat Ridge Community Foundation

The Wheat Ridge Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization established in 2003. In 2011, it changed its name from the Wheat Ridge Foundation to the Wheat Ridge Community Foundation to broaden its support throughout the community. The Foundation:
  • encourages community giving by connecting donors to community needs, building permanent charitable funds, and bringing people together to improve the quality of life throughout Wheat Ridge;
  • is dedicated to financially supporting a variety of programs, including educational, social and recreational programs and facilities provided by the City of Wheat Ridge Parks and Recreation Department; and
  • is financially supported through charitable gift donations and fund raisers.

Contributions made to the Wheat Ridge Community Foundation are tax deductible. Giving options are flexible to meet each individual donor's needs. Please specify which program you'd like your donation to support or indicate that you would like to make a general donation, where the funds are directed to the program with the greatest need. Other Forms of Donations

Financial donations are the simplest way to give, but you can also donate in other ways. Naming the Foundation as a beneficiary in your will, life insurance, or as a receiver in a charitable remainder trust are all charitable giving options available to you. Real estate or personal property may also be given.
