NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wheat Ridge City Council will conduct Public Hearings on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. to consider Council Bills:  

24-2020 - An Ordinance repealing and reenacting Section 7-6 of the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws, concerning creation of a process for addressing complaints alleging campaign finance violations in City elections

 25-2020 – An Ordinance adopting section 16-47 of the Wheat Ridge code of laws concerning unlawful removal or defacing of notices on public property and establishing penalties for violation of the same

 26-2020 – An Ordinance repealing, re-titling and reenacting section 16-46 of the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws concerning trespass and establishing penalties for violation of the same

27-2020 – An Ordinance adopting section 16-70 of the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws concerning pedestrian use of Roadway Center Medians, and in connection therewith amending section 16-113, sales and solicitation in certain places prohibited

28-2020 – An Ordinance adopting section 16-69 of the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws concerning pedestrian hindering the flow of traffic

The proposed subdivision and accompanying documents are available in electronic form on the City’s official website, http://www.ci.wheatridge.co.us/legal-notices and at www.wheatridgespeaks.org.  Specific plans for the proposed changes are available for inspection at the Wheat Ridge City Hall.  NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wheat Ridge City Treasurer has adopted Resolution No. 1 Series of 2016, A Resolution Amending the Sales and Use Tax Regulations of the City of Wheat Ridge to Authorize the Rounding of Fractional Dollars on Tax Returns.

Resolution 40-2020: Effective July 23, 2020

Public notice of public meetings of the City Council, Planning Commission, Board of Adjustment, and all other Board, Commission, Committee, and advisory board meetings for which public notice is required, shall be posted at the main entrance to the Municipal Building, 7500 West 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, which location shall be deemed the official posting location for the City.

Except as otherwise permitted by Sections 5.2 and 5.12 of the Charter, notices and other information required to be published in a newspaper of general circulation within the City, shall be made in the Jeffco Transcript; except that, where circumstances make publication ineffective or otherwise undesirable, the City may publish official notice on the City’s website.
