Remove all ornamentation, tree stands, twine, lights, and garland. Yard waste and other debris will not be accepted.
Drop-off sites are open daily from sunrise until sunset for Wheat Ridge residents at the following park locations:
- Prospect Park - 11300 W. 44th Ave.
- Panorama Park - 3400 Fenton St.
Trees are chipped into mulch that is used in planter beds and around trees in City parks. Free mulch is also available to Wheat Ridge residents year round at Prospect Park. Last year, more than 1500 Christmas tree were recycled into mulch!
This service is available to individual residents only and may not be used for disposal of trees sold by area vendors
