Donations Needed


A new county-wide homeless navigation model was launched in 2020, comprised of six municipal and county-based housing navigators who work directly with persons experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness. Rebekah Raudabaugh, began as the Homeless Navigator in December of 2020 and in her role will assist those experiencing a housing crisis find stable housing, and obtain the services and resources needed to maintain that housing. Read more about the Homeless Navigator and how Wheat Ridge is addressing the issue of homelessness

The Homeless Navigator works in partnership with local business communities, constituents, metro-area non-profit providers and government agencies serving the cities of Golden, Edgewater, and Wheat Ridge. In an effort to assist Rebekah in outreach with those experiencing homelessness, WRPD is asking for donations of the following items:

  • Warm Hats
  • Winter Gloves
  • Cozy Socks
  • Hand/Foot Warmers
  • Bottled Water
  • Individually Wrapped Snacks (such as peanut butter crackers, granola bars, power bars, trail mix, etc.)

Donations can be dropped off March 5- April 30, 2021 at 7500 W. 29th Ave. Wheat Ridge in the lobby of City Hall or the Police Department 

Monetary donations are also welcome and can be made to the Wheat Ridge Community Foundation:
