JCPH Issues Public Health Order Requiring Masks in Government Facilities

COVID JCPH Order Oct. 2021

Effective Sat., Oct. 9, 2021, Jefferson County Public Health Public Health Order 21-004 requires that all individuals ages two and older wear a face mask in all indoor spaces at all county and municipal government buildings. Additionally, the Board directed Jefferson County Public Health to prepare a draft Public Health Order which if approved would require all county and municipal government workers to get tested for COVID-19 weekly or submit proof of full vaccination in order to report to work in person. The Board will reconvene on Monday, October 11 at noon to discuss the draft Order, and the meeting info is available  at JCPH. Read the entire press release issued today.
